Using The Scan Tool

Code Lookup

Code Lookup is used to look up definitions of DTCs stored in the Scan
Tool.

The Scan Tool does not require power from the vehicle to perform this
function.
From Diagnostic Menu:
1. Select Code Lookup.
•Use
arrow key until Code Lookup
3
is highlighted.
•Press
2.Enter code.
•All characters must be entered
•Only one character can be
changed at a time.
•Use
arrow keys to scroll to desired
digit.
•Use
arrow keys to change selected
digit.
• Press
✓
Some vehicles may have an additional screen asking in which system
to look for a code.
✓
If definition could not be found, the Scan Tool displays No DTC
Definition Found. See Service Manual.
