About RAW Images
RAW images contain the data captured by the camera's image sensor without modification. Since they
contain raw data that differs from the usual JPEG images by not having any image adjustment or compression
processing performed in the camera, they can be converted on a computer with a lossless process.

• RAW images can only be captured on certain camera models that list "RAW" as one of
the data types included in the "Specifications" section of the Camera User Guide .
