Changing the picture settings

Setting the TV picture size

To set the TV picture size:

Press MENU. The Main Menu screen appears.

Press 0 to 4 to select the picture size you want.
Notes:
• Selectable picture sizes may vary depending on the input source or
broadcast signal.
• Picture Size menu also can be displayed by pressing ZOOM on the
remote control.

You can choose from the following picture sizes:
Aspect ratio option
Natural:
Displays the original 4:3 aspect
ratio with vertical black bars
on the left and right of the
image. If the original aspect
ratio is 16:9, the image
displays in 16:9.
Cinema Wide 1:
Expands the image to fill the
screen. The top and bottom of
the image may be cropped.
Cinema Wide 2:
Use this option to view
content recorded in a 16:9
(wide-screen) aspect ratio.
Cinema Wide 3:
Stretches the image at the
edges, but keeps a clear image
in the center.
Full:
Displays the image at the
maximum size.
Notes:
• Some High Definition and/or Digital broadcasts may not allow you to
change the picture size.
• In HDMI or Component mode with a scanning rate of 720p, 1080i, or
or
1080p (HDMI only), only the Cinema Wide2 and Full picture sizes are
available.
• In PC mode, only the Natural, Full, and Native picture sizes are
available. In PC mode
• (WXGA) only the Full and Native picture size features are available.

Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.
