Replacing the Fan

Procedure

1 Place the fan on the computer base and replace the screw that secures the fan to
the computer base.
2 Connect the fan cable to the system board.

Postrequisites

1 Follow the instructions from step 3 to step 10 in "Replacing the System Board" on
page 43.
2 Replace the palm-rest. See "Replacing the Palm-Rest" on page 33.
3 Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 19.
