The speaker layout below shows the speaker setting we recommend.
■ 5.1-channel speaker layout

FR: Front right speaker
C: Center speaker
SR: Surround right speaker
SL: Surround left speaker
SW: Subwoofer
■ 2.1-channel speaker layout

30˚ to 60˚
FL: Front left speaker
FR: Front right speaker
SW: Subwoofer
You can enjoy 2.1-channel playback using two front
speakers and a subwoofer. Also, you can enjoy surround
playback using the AIR SURROUND XTREME function
of this unit (☞ P. 38, 51).
For other speaker combinations
You can enjoy multi-channel sources by using a
speaker combination other than the 5.1-channel or
2.1-channel speaker combinations.
