I Automatic thread trimming function (856A only)
• When setting fixed stitch/name label sewing, if the
thread trimming key r is pressed so that the indicator
t illuminates, the thread is trimmed automatically af-
ter the set number of stitches have been sewn when
the treadle is depressed continuously.
(When attaching name labels, the thread is trimmed
after each cycle.)
• When the fixed stitch/name label function is canceled,
the automatic thread trimming function is also can-
celed, and the thread trimming indicator t switches
off.
I Automatic sewing (AUTO) function
• When setting fixed stitch/name label sewing, if the
AUTO key y is pressed so that the AUTO indicator u
illuminates, the number of setting stitches is sewn au-
tomatically simply by depressing the treadle once.
• When the fixed stitch/name label function is canceled,
the AUTO function is also canceled, and the AUTO in-
dicator u switches off.
I Combining fixed stitches/name label sewing with
backtacking
The illustration shows an example of stitch combinations
using backtacking.
Note:
The set number of fixed stitches are sewn and sewing
then stops automatically, regardless of the zigzag stop
position setting.
