b.  Detach the replacement system board from its mounting plate by removing the four mounting screws from the heat-sink retention base. Set the
mounting plate aside for later installation on the old system board prior to shipping back to Dell.
c.  Install the replacement system board onto the metal tray by sliding the replacement system board forward to attach the board to the hooks on
the metal tray. Install the retention base using the four mounting screws, and then replace the screw at the front of the system board.
d.  Install the mounting plate on the original system board using the retention base and the four mounting screws.
 
3. Transfer components from the existing system board to the replacement system board:
a.  Remove the memory modules from the existing system board and install them on the replacement board.
 
CAUTION:
The processor package and heat-sink assembly can get hot. To avoid burns, ensure that the package and assembly have had sufficient
time to cool before you touch them.
b.  Remove the heat-sink assembly and processor from the existing system board and transfer them to the replacement system board.
 
4. Configure the settings of the replacement system board.
 
5.
Set the jumpers
on the replacement system board so they are identical to the ones on the existing board.
