Closed defect summary
Internal server ports on an embedded platform; traffic may stop due
to loss of buffer credit.
Mixed fabric of McDATA and Brocade switches cannot be managed
if only IPv6 addressing is supported.
HBA is not following Fibre Channel protocol standards, which could
cause a switch reboot.
Problems in an IP network could cause a switch running Fabric OS
5.3.x to panic.
Device with slow initialization sequence may cause the switch to mis-
takenly establish virtual channels on an F_Port.
WebTools zoning breaks when third party storage virtualization appli-
ance is changed to standby mode leading to WebTools hangs.
FICON tape write pipelining selectively resets after CmdRetry to
NoOp sequence to LBY, causing tape job failures.
F_Port link initialization failure exposed by new third-party device be-
havior, where switch continues to send idles after NOS from HBA.
SupportSave command using DCFM does not contain information
from the standby CP.
HP 400 Multi-Protocol Router sends the wrong sense code during tape
backup with pipelining enabled.
WebTools: DCX blade attention LEDs on the switch view GUI window
do not turn amber when the blade needs attention.
FICON PTP VTS selective resets and aborted sequences are caused
by incorrect entry into FICON tape read pipelining.
After renaming a port group name to blank from WebTools, the port
group is deleted.
If EE monitors are restored from flash on a switch that has TopTalker
monitors, there is no warning or error when the TopTalker monitor in-
stallation recovery fails.
The aaaconfig command online help text needs to be corrected to
clearly indicate LDAP cannot be configured while FIPS is enabled.
FR-18i faulted after overnight stress testing.
A TI zone with an invalid (too high) port number can cause a kernel
panic.
ARRd daemon had multiple restarts that ultimately let to a KSWD event.
Fast Write can obtain incorrect FCP command data length if the op-
tional additional CDB length is selected.
Hardware LED shows error status (flashing amber or green), even
though all FRUs are okay.
