Section 6: Applications

Managing Applications

This section contains a description of each application that is
available on the Apps screen and its function. If the
application is already described in another section of this
user manual, then a cross reference to that particular section
is provided.
Tip: To open applications quickly, add the icons of frequently
used applications to one of the Home screens. For more
information, see "Shortcuts" on page 33.
Update Available
When you open an application that is preloaded on your
device, an Update Available message may be displayed if
there is a new version of the app available.
Touch Upgrade to update the app or touch Not Now to
open the app without updating.
Downloading and Installing Apps
Find new apps to download and install on your device:

Play Store: For more information, see "Play Store" on
page 106.

S Suggest: For more information, see "S Suggest" on
page 107.
Uninstalling Apps
You can uninstall apps you download and install. Pre-loaded
apps cannot be uninstalled.
1. From the Home screen, touch
2. Touch Menu
3. Apps that can be uninstalled show
Touch , then follow the prompts to uninstall the
app. Pre-loaded apps cannot be uninstalled.
