Section 1. Hardware Requirements for Installation

Prepare your NetServer following the instructions in the E 200 Installation Guide.
It is recommended that you do not install any third party adapter until you verify
that the Hewlett-Packard equipment is functioning properly and you complete the
Novell NetWare installation.

Section 2. HP E 200 NetServer Drivers Diskette

Your system includes a Startup CD. Boot your system from the CD and follow the
on-screen instructions to create two HP Diagtools Diskettes and one Novell
NetWare Drivers Diskette.
Drivers Diskette – SCSI, CD-ROM, and LAN drivers
A:\SCSI – drivers for HP SCSI card
A:\NICDRV – drivers for HP LAN card
A:\IDECDROM – IDE CD-ROM driver
Section 3. Perform Manual NetWare 5.1
Installation
The manual installation of Novell NetWare contains two phases.
Phase 0 – Run Diagnostics (Optional)
Phase 1 – Driver Installation
NOTE
PHASE 0 – Run Diagnostics (Optional)
If your hard drive contains data or is not new, HP recommends
to use a utility, such as fdisk, to erase all data and partitions
from your hard drive.
