The ports in the HP StorageWorks Core Switch 2/64 support full duplex
link speeds at 2.125 Gbps or 1.0625 Gbps, inbound and outbound,
automatically negotiating to the highest common speed of all devices
connected to the port. Each port has a SerDes (serializer/de-serializer)
which accepts 10-bit wide parallel data and serializes it into a high-speed
