    Services for NFS NFS performance will increase when changing from the default of synchronous writes to asynchronous writes. To change from synchronous to asynchronous writes (and vise versa), open the Web UI and click Shares, Sharing Protocols. Choose the NFS Protocol, and click Properties. Click the NFS Async/Sync Setting button to toggle between asynchronous and synchronous writes.

    NAS Web User Interface Improper Closure of Remote Desktop Certain operations can leave the utilities running if the browser is closed versus exiting from the program via the application menu or logging off the Remote Desktop session. Some applications may become orphaned in this manner when the Remote Desktop Session is exited improperly.
