6005 8982 You cannot create a pair, because the
specified M-VOL is a command device.
6005 8983 You cannot create a pair, because the
specified R-VOL is a command device.
6005 8984 You cannot create a new pair, because
the number of CT groups of
asynchronous pairs that you can
register in SLPR exceeds the limit.
6005 8985 The coexistence of volumes that are in
the different CLPRs is not allowed within
one CT group.
6005 8987 Cannot create a pair, because LUSE
volumes consisting of volumes from
different CUs are not supported by
either the MCU or the RCU.
6005 8988 Cannot create a pair, because LUSE
volumes consisting of volumes that differ
in capacity are not supported by either
the MCU or the RCU.
6005 8989 The specified M-VOL is a volume used
by Compatible FlashCopy.
The operation failed because of one of
the following reasons.
The current microcode cannot use a
volume used by Compatible
FlashCopy as an M-VOL.
"Cylinder" was set for the
"Difference Management" of the
M-VOL.
The M-VOL belonged to Sync
Group.
6005 8990 A pair cannot be created, because the
specified R-VOL is used for Compatible
FlashCopy.
6005 55230 The attribute of the port assigned to
SLPRs except SLPR0 can only be
changed to Target.
Recommended Action
Confirm the licensed
capacity Mainframe Array
Management on the RCU
side. To execute this
operation, purchase a
license key that allows you
to use a larger capacity.
Specify the volume that can
be used to create a pair,
then retry the operation.

whether the specified volume
belongs to Sync Group from
Business Continuity
Manager.
