USB Connect

You can transfer data to a PC or print photos directly by establishing
the correct USB connection.
1.
Touch the Menu (
( ) tab  "USB Connect."
2.
Touch the desired submenu
item.
3.
To exit the menu, touch the Exit
( ) or Return ( ) tab.
Submenu items
• Mass Storage: C onnect to a PC to transfer videos or
photos. page 99
• PictBridge: C onnect to a PictBridge printer to print photos
directly (when using the PictBridge function).

Before connecting a USB cable, check whether the current USB mode
is appropriate for the function you want to use.

HDMI TV Out

You can set the HDMI video output to match the TV you have
connected the camcorder to.
Using the HDMI cable (not supplied), connect the camcorder to your TV.

Auto: T he video signals are output in the same format

connecting to an HDTV.
• 480p: T he recorded file is output in the 720x480p
format. Use this setting only when connecting to
a standard, analog TV which supports Standard
Definition (SD) progressive scan through its the
HDMI jacks.
