Transferring files
Move audio, video, image, or other types of files from the device to the computer, or vice
versa.
The following file formats are supported by some applications. Some file formats are
not supported depending on the version of the device's software.
• M usic: m4a, m4b, wma, and mp3
• I mage: bmp, gif, jpg, and png
• V ideo: m4v, mp4, avi, mov, dvr-ms, and wmv
• D ocument: doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, pdf, and txt
Connecting as a media device
Connect the device to a computer via the USB cable. The device's internal memory and the
memory card in the device both appear on the computer as removable storage devices.
