Sending a Fax Directly from a Network Computer (Network FAX functions)

Use the Network FAX functions to send a document made on a network computer to the other fax
machine, or to receive a document from the other fax machine onto your network computer. The
main functions are as follows.
Transmission
When this fax machine and a
computer are connected over the
same network, the image data of a
document created on the computer
can be sent with the Scanner
function and then transmitted to the
other fax, etc.
Reception
Documents sent by the other fax
machine, etc., will be received by
this fax and saved via the Scanner
function into a designated folder on
the network's server computer (the
computer on which the included
Scanner File Utility is installed). In
this case, the received document
will be saved as a PDF or a TIFF
file.
Address Book
Destination fax numbers can be
registered in advance for
transmission. Groups of up to 80
fax numbers can be registered in
this machine and can be used
conveniently for Broadcast
Transmission, etc.
In addition, it is possible to import
CSV format address books created
with other applications.
