Setting the driver I/O buffer size (latency)
Audio signals may not be played back or recorded properly (for example, noise may be produced) while using the DAW soft-
ware. Such a problem may be solved by adjusting the audio buffer size which can be adjusted on the Audio Driver window of
the DAW.
The higher buffer size reduces the load of the computer CPU but produces latency (time lag) during recording/playback. The
smaller buffer size may result in noise or the sound cutting off.
Make sure to set the I/O buffer size to an appropriate value depending on the speed of your computer, the CPU power available
in DAW, etc.
Special Note when using the MY16-mLAN
Yamaha MY16-mLAN provides the "01V" mode and "Other" mode. When using the 01V to which the MY16-mLAN
installed, make sure to set the MY16-mLAN to "01V" mode. For instructions, refer to the Owner's Manual of the MY16-
mLAN. When using any other devices (such as DM2000, DM1000. 02R96, and 01V96), set the MY16-mLAN to the "Other"
mode.
