Saving/Recalling the setup with the mLAN Auto Connector
The connection setup in the mLAN Auto Connector will be saved automatically without any specific operation. When using the
next time, you can recall the connection setup just only by starting the mLAN Auto Connector (without the specific operation like
"Connect to Mac").
• The connection setup in the mLAN Auto Connector will be saved (or overwritten) automatically as the two files listed below. These files can be
deleted if you want to set up connection from scratch.
/User/(Account name)/mLAN/mainsave.mlc
/User/(Account name)/mLAN/backupsave.mlc
("(Account name)" indicates the account name when installed.)
• If the FireWire (IEEE1394) cable was disconnected or the power was turned off during the previous session, the message shown below may
appear meaning that the previous connection setup cannot be recalled. When this occurs, click [Close] then select [01X] → [Connect to Mac]
from the Devices menu in the mLAN Auto Connector.
Model Nickname
The Properties dialog of each mLAN device lets you change the model nickname. You can assign any nickname (up to 32 charac-
ters) to distinguish the selected device from the other devices. You cannot use two-byte characters (such as Japanese or Chinese
characters).
