Setting the SSH Status
Secure Shell (SSH) is a program that provides access to the DWL‐x600AP CLI from a remote host. SSH is more
secure than Telnet for remote access because it provides strong authentication and secure communications
over insecure channels. From the SSH page, you can enable or disable SSH access to the system.

Choose to either enable or disable SSH access to the AP CLI:
• To permit remote access to the AP by using SSH, click Enabled.
• To prevent remote access to the AP by using SSH, click Disabled.
Setting the Telnet Status
Telnet is a program that provides access to the DWL‐x600AP CLI from a remote host. From the Telnet page, you
can enable or disable Telnet access to the system.
