6.6 File Management
Stored files are available of Deleting, Copying, Combining, Cutting, Moving, Locking, Unlocking,
Erasing, Making permanently or Renaming.
The Color keys play roles same as those of PIP Player mode.
You can select one of the file management functions with the right or the left arrow key, and the
selected function is displayed on the top right corner of the screen.
To delete a file:
- Press the
/
keys to select a file to delete from Saved File list.
- Press the
/
keys to select Delete from the file management
functions on the top right corner of the screen.
- Pressing the OK key prompts a message reading
"Delete file [OK]?"
- Pressing the OK key deletes the file.
To copy a file:
- Press the
/
keys to select a file to copy from Saved File list.
- Press the
/
keys to select Copy from the file management
functions on the top right corner of the screen.
- Pressing the OK key prompts Copy Progress widow, and
automatically generates a copy file name with extension of CX.
- If you want to cancel copying a file during the copy operation,
press the EXIT key.
To combine a file:
- Press the
/
keys to select a file to combine from Saved
File list.
- Press the
/
keys to select Combine from the file
management functions on the top right corner of the screen.
- Press the MARK key. The selected file is highlighted into
orange color.
- Select another file to combine by pressing the
- Press the OK key to combine them into one file.

To cut a certain area from a file:
- Press the
/
keys to select a file to cut from Saved File list.
- Press the
/
keys to select Cut from the file management
functions on the top right corner of the screen.
- Press the MARK key to select an area to delete.
- Pressing the OK key prompts a message reading
"Delete [x%]~[x%]."
- Pressing the OK key deletes the selected area.

Cutting a specified area reduces the file length,
however file duration is not changed.
Change in playback duration after the cutting
operation indicates deletion of the area.
To move a file to another directory:
- Press the
/
keys to select a file to move from Saved
File list.
- Press the
/
keys to select Move from the file
management functions on the top right corner of the
screen.
- Pressing the OK key prompts the directory menu (A – E).
- Press the
/
keys to select a directory for file moving,
and then press the OK key to complete file movement.
To lock a file:
- Press the
/
keys to select a file to lock from Saved File list.
- Press the
/
keys to select Lock from the file management
functions on the top right corner of the screen.
- Pressing the OK key changes the attributes of the file to being locked.
To unlock a locked file:
- Press the
/
keys to select a locked file to unlock from
Saved File list.
- Press the
/
keys to select Unlock from the file
management functions on the top right corner of the
screen.
- Pressing the OK key unlocks the locked file, and the
attribute is changed blank.
