Recording in PLAYER mode

Recording in PLAYER mode
✤ You can use this camcorder as a recorder.
✤ You can record a tape from VCR or TV.
1. Connect the camcorder and VCR or TV with
the AUDIO/VIDEO cable.
2. Set the power switch of the camcorder to
PLAYER mode.
3. Turn on the VCR or TV.
4. Insert the blank tape with protection tab closed
into the camcorder.

If you want to record from a connected VCR,
insert a recorded VHS tape into the VCR.
5. Press the MENU button, turn the MENU DIAL
to highlight A/V and press the ENTER button.
6. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight AV IN/OUT
and press the ENTER button to select AV IN.

"AV IN" and picture appear on the LCD
monitor.

OUT : Releases the INPUT mode.
7. Press the START/STOP button to set the camcorder
to REC PAUSE mode.

"PAUSE" on the LCD monitor.
8. Select the TV program or playback the VHS tape.
9. Press START/STOP button to start recording.

If you want to pause recording for a while,
press the START/STOP button again.

Recording from an analog VCR to the camcorder is only possible when
the VCR is playing back at normal speed.

If you want to see the camcorder picture with a TV, set AV IN/OUT
in the menu to OUT.

Enregistrement en mode magnétoscope (PLAYER)
✤ Ce caméscope permet d'enregistrer des cassettes à partir d'un
magnétoscope ou d'un téléviseur.
1. Reliez le caméscope au magnétoscope ou à
VIDEO la télévision à l'aide du câble AUDIO/VIDEO.

3. Allumez le magnétoscope ou le téléviseur.

4. Insérez la bande vierge dans le caméscope,
languette de protection fermée.

Si vous souhaitez effectuer un
CAMCORDER
enregistrement à partir d'un magnétoscope,
insérez la cassette VHS enregistrée dans
celui-ci.
5. Appuyez sur la touche MENU. À l'aide de la
molette MENU, sélectionnez A/V et appuyez
sur la touche ENTER.
6. Toujours avec la molette MENU, sélectionnez
AV IN/OUT et appuyez sur la touche ENTER
pour sélectionner AV IN.

L'indication « AV IN » et une image
s'affichent sur l'écran LCD.

OUT : quittez le mode INPUT.
7. Appuyez sur la touche START/STOP pour régler le
caméscope sur REC PAUSE.

« PAUSE » apparaît sur l'écran LCD.

8. Sélectionnez le programme télé ou lancez la lecture
de la cassette VHS.

9. Appuyez sur la touche START/STOP pour démarrer
l'enregistrement.

Si vous souhaitez faire une pause au cours de l'enregistrement,
appuyez de nouveau sur la touche START/STOP.
10. Pour arrêter l'enregistrement, appuyez sur la touche

Lorsque vous enregistrez des images en cours de lecture accélérée
ou ralentie sur un magnétoscope analogique, le caméscope affiche
uniquement des images grises.
I
Pour visualiser les enregistrements du caméscope sur un téléviseur,
sélectionnez OUT dans le menu AV IN/OUT.
