Using the VIDEO LIGHT

✤ VIDEO LIGHT works in CAMERA/M.REC mode only.
✤ Brightens the scene when natural lighting is too dim.
✤ The VIDEO LIGHT works in SP mode only.
- If you turn on the LIGHT in LP mode, the LIGHT indicator and "LP"
will blink on the LCD.
DANGER
I
The VIDEO LIGHT can become extremely hot.
Do not touch it while in operation or soon after turning it off,
otherwise serious injury may result.
I
Do not place the camcorder into the carrying case immediately after
using the VIDEO LIGHT, since it remains extremely hot for some
time.
I
Do not use near flammable or explosive materials.
I
It is recommended that you consult your nearest SAMSUNG dealer
for bulb replacement.
- The life of the bulb is approximately 50 hours.
1. Set the camcorder to the CAMERA mode.
2. Press the V.LIGHT button.

The VIDEO LIGHT indicator appears
on the LCD and the light is turned on.
3. If you want to turn off the VIDEO LIGHT,
press the V.LIGHT button again.

The light is turned off automatically during ejecting or inserting.
I
Even if the battery indicator does not blink when the battery pack's
charge is low, the camcorder may turn off automatically when you turn
on the light, or when you start recording with the light turned on.
I
The built-in light is used as a subsidiary light, it may not be enough for
outdoor lighting.
I
The picture quality may deteriorate if you use the VIDEO LIGHT
continuously for more than 20 minutes.

✤ La torche intégrée est disponible uniquement en mode caméscope et
enregistrement photo.
✤ Cette fonction permet d'éclairer la scène lorsque la lumière naturelle
est trop faible.
✤ La torche intégrée fonctionne en mode SP uniquement.
- Si vous allumez la torche en mode LP, le témoin LIGHT et LP
clignotent sur l'écran LCD.

La lampe vidéo peut devenir très chaude.
Ne la touchez pas lorsqu'elle est allumée ou lorsqu'elle vient d'être
éteinte, afin d'éviter tout risque de brûlure.

Ne rangez pas le caméscope dans sa mallette juste après avoir
utilisé la torche intégrée, car cette dernière reste chaude pendant
un certain temps.

Ne l'utilisez pas à proximité de matières inflammables ou explosives.
I
Contactez le revendeur SAMSUNG le plus proche pour obtenir une
ampoule de remplacement.
- La durée de vie de l'ampoule est d'environ 50 heures.
1. Réglez le caméscope sur CAMERA
(mode caméscope).
2. Appuyez sur la touche V.LIGHT.

nouveau sur la touche V.LIGHT.

La torche s'éteint automatiquement pendant les opérations d'éjection ou
d'insertion.

Même si le témoin de la batterie ne clignote pas lorsque le niveau du
bloc batterie est bas, le caméscope risque de s'arrêter automatiquement
si vous allumez la torche ou si vous débutez un enregistrement avec
cette dernière.

La torche intégrée sert uniquement de lumière auxiliaire et peut ne pas
être suffisante pour l'éclairage en extérieur.
I
La qualité de l'image risque de se détériorer lorsque vous utilisez la
torche intégrée de façon continue pendant plus de 20 minutes.
