œ RDS (RDS/display) button
To change the display for RDS.
∑ EQ (EQ/X-bass) button
To select the desired sound eff ect : POP, CLASSIC, ROCK, JAZZ,
or FLAT (off ).
é REC (rec) button
To record from TUNER, CD or USB to a cassette tape.
® VOLUME UP/DOWN (volume u/d) buttons
To increase or decrease the volume.
† TIMER SET (timer set) button
To view the clock or set the clock.

To switch the timer on/off .

To set the hour and minutes for clock.
To set timer function for timer.

To select a desired fi le in audio fi les.

To select the sleep time.

To confi rm the selection in fi le search mode for auido fi les.

To switch between stereo mode and mono mode (on FM
band only) for TUNER.

√ RANDOM button

To playback in random order for CD and USB.

To play fi rst several seconds for each track/fi le of CD and USB.

To activate/deactivate the demonstration in power on mode.

Standby mode

While the standby indicator is lit, a small amount of power is
supplied to the system to back up the memory. This is called
standby mode. Under the condition, the system can be turned
ON by the remote control unit.
