Speaker setting

Level setting using a music source

A music source can be used for speaker level setting and subwoofer level setting.
1 Play a disc marked "Dolby Digital".
2 Select the speaker.
FRONT
3 Press the TRIM (5/∞) key to set-
ting the speaker level.

Changing the INPUT MODE

The input mode can be switched with SAT/CABLE and VCR.
For better sound quality, connect the digital output of your component with a coaxial or optical cable. AUTO input
mode continually checks the input signal. If more than one type of cables are connected, AUTO gives priority to
OPTICAL, COAXIAL, then ANALOG. If the input mode you desire is not selected, change as follows.
1 Select the SAT, CABLE or VCR key.

Changing the INPUT MODE
Speaker level adjustment can be performed by press-
ing the keys FRONT, CENTER, REAR, and SW.
FRONT: Front speakers
Switching is done as follows each time the switch is
pressed.
1 L ch : Left speaker
2 R ch : Right speaker
CENTER: Center speaker
REAR:
Rear (Surround) speakers
Switching is done as follows each time the switch is
pressed.
1 RS ch : Right surround speaker
2 LS ch : Left surround speaker
SW: Subwoofer
The speaker level can be changed in the range from -10 dB to
+10 dB.
When the video is displayed, but no sound is put out,

the source may not contain digital audio. In such a
case, please switch to ANALOG.
Each press switches the mode.
