Purpose
Configure RIP to allow redistribution of routes from the
OSPF.
• ospf— Specifies OSPF as the source protocol.
metric
— Specifies the metric to use when
redistributing the route. Range: 1-15.
• internal — Adds internal matches to any match types
presently being redistributed.
• external 1 — Adds routes imported into OSPF as Type-
1 external routes into any match types presently being
redistributed.
• external 2 — Adds routes imported into OSPF as Type-
2 external routes into any match types presently being
redistributed.
• nssa-external 1 — Adds routes imported into OSPF as
NSSA Type-1 external routes into any match types
presently being redistributed.
• nssa-external 2 — Adds routes imported into OSPF as
NSSA Type-2 external routes into any match types
presently being redistributed.
Set the route preference value of RIP in the router. Lower
route preference values are preferred when determining
the best route.
Exit to Global Config mode.
Exit to Privileged Exec mode.
View information about the RIP route distribution
configuration.
