PCI Expansion Card Installation / Removal

Acer AT310 F2 has six bus slots with of three separate bus segments:
 PCI1 - 32-Bit/33 MHz 3.3V PCI slot
 PCI2 - 32-Bit/33 MHz 3.3V PCI slot
 PCI4X - PCI Express x4 slot
 PCI8X_1- PCI Express x8 slot
 PCI8X_2- PCI Express x8 slot
 PCI16X- PCI Express x16 slot

Install the expansion card

1. Lift the riser bracket slightly, then pull it out from the server chassis.
2. Insert the card into the selected slot and secure the expansion card with screw.
Make sure that the card is properly seated.
NOTE: Do not discard the slot cover. If the expansion card is removed in the future, the slot cover must be
reinstalled to maintain proper system cooling.
NOTE: Remove the expansion card from its protective packaging, handling it by the edges.
3. Attach the expansion slot card on the riser bracket and secure it with screws
4. Insert the card into the selected slot. Make sure that the card is properly seated..
5. Connect the necessary cables to the expansion card as required
