Using Bluetooth
The Bluetooth function supports only these models. (YP-T9B, T9JB)
What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is an industry specification that describes how Bluetooth-compliant
stereo headsets, mobile phones, and external devices can easily interconnect with
each other using a short wireless connection.
The Bluetooth device can cause a noise or malfunction, depending on the use
conditions.
Physical signal interference, for instance, if you hold the player in the hand and wear a stereo headset in the
ears, or if you hold the player in the one hand and take a mobile phone in the other hand
Physical contact on the transmitter or receiver system of the player, stereo headset, hands-free (mobile phone)
or external device.
Electrical variation from electrical jamming by the wall, corner or office partitioning
Electrical interference from the same frequency-band devices including medical equipment, microwave oven
and wireless LAN.
The farther the distance between player and stereo headset, hands-free
(mobile phone) or external device is, the worse the quality is.
If the distance exceeds the limit, the communications are disconnected.
When pairing the Bluetooth device with the player, make it within a short
distance as possible.
You are not recommended to use other functions such as text and photo view
modes while using the stereo headset or hands-free (mobile phone),
or transferring files. Otherwise, it can cause deterioration of both the player
and Bluetooth communications.
In poor reception-sensitivity areas such as inside the elevator or under the
ground, the Bluetooth connection may not work properly.
Depending on the model of the stereo headset, hands-free (mobile phone) or
external device, files in less than 32 KHz can not be played.
You can register a Bluetooth-compliant stereo headset, hands-free
(mobile phone) and external device with your player before configuring
wireless connection between them. When the connection is done, you
can listen to music using the Bluetooth headset, make mobile
conversation or transfer files to or from the external device.
