802.1x configuration

This feature allows you to configure the HP 1:10GbE switch as an IEEE 802.1x Authenticator, to provide
port-based network access control. The following table describes the 802.1x Configuration commands.

802.1x Global configuration

The global 802.1x commands allow you to configure parameters that affect all ports in the switch (except
management port 18). The following table describes the 802.1x Global Configuration commands.
Description
Enter VLAN configuration mode.
Command mode: Global configuration
Spanning Tree convergence to an upstream switch during failover.
When enabled, this feature increases bridge priorities to 65500
NOTE:
for all STGs and path cost by 3000 for all external STP ports.
Command mode: Global configuration
Configures the station update rate, in packets per second.
The range is 10-200. The default value is 40.

Displays current Layer 2 parameters.
