Section 3 - Configuration
The DDNS feature allows you to host a server (Web, FTP, Game Server, etc...) using a domain name that you have
purchased (www.whateveryournameis.com) with your dynamically assigned IP address. Most broadband Internet
Service Providers assign dynamic (changing) IP addresses. Using a DDNS service provider, your friends can enter
your domain name to connect to your server no matter what your IP address is.

DDNS

Select Enable or Disable.
Server Address
Select a DDNS Server from the combo box
on the right hand-side, or alternatively type
in the server address manually.
Host Name
Enter your fully qualified Host Name in this
field.
Username or Key
Enter the username or key provided by your
service provider. If the Dynamic DNS provider
supplies only a key, enter that key in three
fields.
Password or Key
Enter your DDNS password or key.
Verify Password
Re-type the password or key provided by
or Key
your service provider. If the Dynamic DNS
provider supplies only a key, enter that key
in the three fields.
Status
Displays your DDNS status.
