User Guidelines
The port is added to the voice VLAN if a packet with a telephony MAC address source MAC address
(defined by the voice vlan oui-table global configuration command) is trapped on the port.
NOTE:
The VLAN ID of the packet can be the voice VLAN ID or any other VLAN. The port joins the voice VLAN as a
tagged port. If the time since the last telephony MAC addressed MAC address ages out exceeds the timeout limit
(configured by the voice vlan aging-timeout global configuration command), the port is removed from the voice VLAN.
Example
The following example enables automatic voice VLAN configuration for a port
console(config-if)# voice vlan enable
voice vlan secure
The voice vlan secure Interface Configuration mode command configures the secure mode for the voice
VLAN. Use the no form of this command to disable the secure mode.
Syntax
•

•
no voice vlan secure
Default Configuration

User Guidelines
