• Clear One Data Format
This deletes one data format for one symbology. If you are clearing the primary format, scan 0 from

that you want to delete. All other formats remain unaffected.

Data Format Editor Commands
Send Commands
F1
Send all characters followed by "xx" key or function code, starting from current cursor position.
Syntax = F1xx (xx stands for the hex value for an ASCII code, see
(Code Page
1252), page A-3.)
F2
Send "nn" characters followed by "xx" key or function code, starting from current cursor position.
Syntax = F2nnxx (nn stands for the numeric value (00-99) for the number of characters and xx
stands for the hex value for an ASCII code. See

F3
Send up to but not including "ss" character (Search and Send) starting from current cursor posi-
tion, leaving cursor pointing to "ss" character followed by "xx" key or function code. Syntax =
F3ssxx (ss and xx both stand for the hex values for ASCII codes, see

1252), page A-3.)
F4
Send "xx" character "nn" times (Insert) leaving cursor in current cursor position. Syntax =
F4xxnn (xx stands for the hex value for an ASCII code, see
1252), page A-3, and nn is the numeric value (00-99) for the number of times it should be sent.)
E9
Send all but the last "nn" characters, starting from the current cursor position. Syntax = E9nn
(nn is the numeric value (00-99) for the number of characters that will not be sent at the end of
the message.)
