Setting the Camera
Image and Audio
— Camera Menu
When you click
Camera
Camera menu appears.
Use this menu to set the functions of the camera.
The Camera menu consists of five tabs: Common,
Picture, Privacy masking, Video codec and
Streaming.

Common Tab

Notes
• SNT-EP104 and SNT-EP154 do not have Common
Tab.
• Voice alert configuration is only available for CH1 on
the SNT-EX154.

Focus mode

Select the focus mode.
Auto: The focus is automatically adjusted.
Manual: The focus can be adjusted by using the
and
displayed in the main viewer.
Microphone
Select whether you are going to send audio from the
microphone input connector. Select On to send the
audio from the system.
Notes
• When you change the Microphone setting, click
Refresh on the Web browser to reflect the change on
the opening main viewer page.
• Microphone setting, microphone volume setting,
audio input setting, audio codec and audio upload are
not available on the SNT-EP104 and SNT-EP154.

Mic volume
Set the volume level of the audio input from the
microphone input connector. It is adjustable from –10 to
+10.
Audio
Select microphone input or line input.
Audio codec
Select the bit rate of audio from the microphone input
connector. G.711 (64kbps), G.726 (40kbps), G.726
(32kbps), G.726 (24kbps) or G.726 (16kbps) can be
selected.
Note
If the bit rate is set to other than G.711(64kbps), no
audio is output when you use Plug-in free Viewer.
Echo suppressor
Select On to reduce echo from audio transmission.
Audio noise reduction
Select On to use Audio noise reduction.

Audio upload

Using SNC audio upload tool stored in the supplied
CD-ROM, you can output audio that is input to the
computer's audio input terminal from a powered speaker
connected to the line output jack of the system.
Select On to output audio from the speaker.
Volume
Set the speaker volume level from – 10 to + 10.
