The approximate recordable time of movies
The table below shows the approximate maximum recording times. These are the total times
for all movie files. Continuous shooting is possible for approximately 10 minutes.

• You cannot play back the movies shot using another camera.
• The movies shot with this camera will be recorded in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, Approx. 30fps, Progressive,
AAC, mp4 format.
• The camera incorporates a VBR (Variable Bit Rate) system for automatically adjusting the bit rate
(amount of data to be recorded per unit of time) according to the scene being shot. The recording time to
media therefore varies. For example, the recording time to media is shorter for movies of quickly moving
objects because a large amount of media is used to record detailed images.
