To shoot a snapshot

1.
Press [r] (REC) to turn on the camera.
Make sure R is on the display. If it isn't, see page 50.

Point the camera at
the subject.
You can zoom the
image, if you want.

Half-press the shutter button to
focus the image.
When focus is complete, the camera
will beep, the back lamp will light
green, and the focus frame will turn
green.
