Converting from Sweeping
to Snowthrowing
Important: Disconnect the power from the Power
Shovel Plus before performing this procedure.
1. Remove the
deflector.
2. Remove the
bolt on the side of
the housing.
3. Remove the
broom from the
housing.
4. Install the rotor in the housing by Inserting the end
of the rotor onto the fitted end in the housing and
rotating the rotor until it snaps into position.

Note: The housing will flex when you install the
snowthrower rotor.
1. Tighten the
bolt on the side of
the housing.
2. Loosen the
lower knob on the
shaft.
3. Rotate the
handle grip to the
m–7694
opposite side of
the shaft.
4. Tighten the
knob.
5. Ensure that the
Power Shovel Plus
is in the
m-7386
snowthrower mode
as shown.

Note: You may need to adjust the length of the shaft
to comfortably operate in snowthrower mode. Refer to
Adjusting the Power Shovel Plus Height on page 3.
