Removing a PCI Add-in Card

Before opening the system unit, save and close all open files, exit all open
applications, turn off the power to all attached peripheral devices, shut down
the computer, and unplug the power cord.

Remove the side cover (see

Remove the amplifier block unit that covers the PCI slots, as follows:
Press the amplifier block tab and slide it to the right.
Slide the amplifier block unit out and lift it away from the unit,
without disconnecting or twisting the attached wiring.

Disconnect any cables attached to the add-in card you want to
remove.

Remove the screw that secures the add-in card to the chassis.
