1. L displays the following menu of
variables.
A B C D E
Lets you select a variable
in which to store the
displayed value. The new
variable replaces any
previously stored value.
rand
Lets you set a seed value
for random integers.
2. z displays the following menu of
variables.
A B C D E
Lets you view the stored
value before pasting it in
variable form to the display.

Notes
The examples on the transparency masters
assume all default settings.
You can store a real number or an
expression that results in a real number to
a memory variable.
When you select a variable using z,
the variable name (A, B, C, D, or E) is
displayed on the entry line.
When you select a variable using % h,
the value of the stored variable is
displayed on the entry line.
Resetting the calculator clears all memory
variables.
