Unpack

Install software

Do not connect the USB cable yet.

Insert the Epson scanner software CD.

Select English (if necessary), select your product, then click Install and follow the on-screen instructions.
Windows 8: For additional installation instructions, go to www.epson.com/support/windows8 (U.S.) or www.epson.ca/support/windows8 (Canada).
Insert each of the additional software CDs and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

Unlock and assemble

Attach the document mat to the scanner cover.

Connect and turn on

Scan a photo

Click Scan. Wait for your scan to finish, then view your photo in Pictures or My Pictures.
