Airbag Spiral Spring, removing and
installing
Remove airbag unit
Remove steering wheel
- Separate single connector for horn.
- Remove screws -1- and remove Airbag Spiral
Spring -2- from steering wheel.
Install steering wheel
Install airbag unit Page 48-7
Note:
When removing and installing the Airbag Spiral
Spring, ensure that it is in the center position.
As a new part the Airbag Spiral Spring is secured
in the center position by a cable tie.
