Creating a Zapping viewer

You can create a Zapping view er on pages of the Component display.
The Zapping view er is used to operate the Zapping group. A key such as
view er, and by pressing this key, you can scroll the elements in the Zapping group.
Hint
You can create up to five Zapping view ers for a component.
1.
Click the EDIT s w itch in the ce nte r of the w indow to s w itch to the EDIT m ode .
2.
Click the page (of the Com pone nt dis play) on w hich you w ant to cre ate a Zapping view e r from the Page tre e vie w on the le ft.
The selected page appears on the editor in the center of the w indow .
Hint
You can also create a Zapping view er on a new page. A new page is created by clicking "Edit" of the menu bar, then clicking "Add Blank Page."

Click the "Add" tab in the uppe r right of the w indow .

Click
of "Ne w Ke y/Zapping view e r," the n s e le ct "Zapping vie w e r."
The Zapping view er icon appears on the right side of the display.

The "Add view er" dialog box appears.

You cannot drag and drop a Zapping view er icon w here function keys, etc., are already assigned.

When you drag and drop the Zapping view er icon, an error message w ill appear if:
There is no Zapping group.
There is only an empty Zapping group (having no elements).
There are already five Zapping view ers on the component you are editing.
6.
Click
of "Se le ct the Zapping group to be as s igne d," the n s e le ct the Zapping group on w hich you w ant to ass ign the Zapping
vie w e r.
7.
Click "OK."
The "Add view er" dialog box closes, and the new Zapping view er is created on the page selected in step 2.
Hint
You can check in the EMULATE mode if the new Zapping view er has been created properly. To sw itch to the EMULATE mode, click the EMULATE sw itch in
the center of the w indow .
