Troubleshooting
Before sending your LCD monitor for servicing, please check the troubleshooting
list below to see if you can self-diagnose the problem.
HDMI1 / HDMI2 / HDMI3 / HDMI4 / DP / DP Alt Mode
Problem
The video or image
does not appear on the
screen.
The video or image
keeps flickering
or flashing when
connecting to a source
device via the HDMI or
DP port on the monitor.
If the LED light illuminates blue:
Using the OSD menu, adjust brightness and contrast to
maximum or reset to their default settings.
If the LED light is off:
• Check the power switch.
• Check if the AC power cord is properly connected to
the monitor.
If the LED light illuminates amber:
• Check if the video signal cable is properly connected
at the back of monitor.
• Check if the computer system is switched on and in
power saving/standby mode.
• Check if the HDMI or DP cable is firmly connected to
the monitor and source device.
• Check if the output port of the source device
complies with the version of the supplied cable. The
version of each supplied cable: HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4.
• When using an HDMI 2.1 cable, make sure that the
HDMI 2.1 specification is set to ON. You can use
HDMI 2.1 in the OSD menu to enable the HDMI 2.1
specification.
• Check if the source device is set to a resolution and
refresh rate that are supported by the monitor.
• Update the driver of the graphic card used in the
source device to the latest version.
