Ethernet interface
The Ethernet 10/100BASE-T interface of the gas analyzer is
intended for
•
communication with the ECT Configuration software for
device configuration and software update,
•
data transfer using Modbus TCP/IP protocol as well as
•
QAL3 data transfer if the QAL3 monitoring option is
integrated in the gas analyzer,
Note
The Ethernet protocol is an unsecured protocol (in the sense of
IT or cyber security), as such the intended application should be
assessed before implementation to make sure that this protocol
is suited.

Cable glands
Assignment of the cable glands
The shielded connection cables for Modbus®, PROFIBUS®, and
Ethernet as well as for data transmission and the power supply
of the EL3060-Uras26 analyzer unit must be connected through
EMC cable glands with terminal insert for the braided shield
(M16×1.5 EMC and M20×1.5 EMC) into the terminal box.
