Lower Rack
Thelowerrackis bestusedfor plates,saucersand
cookwareitems.Largeitems,suchas broilerpans
and bakingracksshouldgo along the sidesof the
rack.If necessary, oversized glassesand mugscan
be placedin the lowerrackto maximizeloading
flexibility.Plates, s aucersand similaritemsshouldbe
placedbetweenthe tinesin the directionthat allows
the item to remainsecurein the rack.
Do not loadlargeitemswherethey may blockthe
detergentdispenser whenthe door isclosed.
Thereversible tine blocks(onsomemodels) are
designedto allowgreaterflexibilityin loadingdishes.
Thedirectionof thetine blockscanbe changedto
match preferredloadingdirection. T oadjustthe tine
blockdirection,removethe clipssecuringthetine
blocksto the racksby pullingup on thetab, then
flex the retainingwireto unseatthe tine blockfrom
the lowerrack.Thetine blockmay be turnedin the
oppositedirectionto reverse the loadingdirection.
Securethe tineblockto the rackusingthe same
processand be sureto snapthe sameclipsin place.

The clips can bee
choke hezerd for smell children. Keep out of
reech of children.
Folddowntines(onsome models) allowfor greater
flexibilityin loadinglargeitems.Select t he position
of thefold downtine that bestaccommodates
your dishwareitems.Thedirectionof the fold down
tines can bechangedto matchpreferredloading
direction. T oadJust t he folddowntine direction,
removethe clipssecuring the fold downtinesto the
racksby slidingthe clipso that it disengages from
the rackwire.Thefolddown tinesmay be rotated
in the oppositedirectionto reverse the loading
direction. S ecurethe folddown tinesto the rack
usingthe sameclips.Theclipisremovedbypulling
up on the clipand separatingit from the rack.
Replace the clipon the oppositesideof the rack by
positioning the clipoverthewire and pressing down.
It is importantto ensurethat itemsdo not protrude
throughthe bottom of the rackor the silverware
basketwherethey will blockthe rotationofthe lower
sprayarm.Thiscouldresultin noiseduring operation
and/orpoor wash performance.
