Storing/Copying Programs

Any time that you make a change to a Program, the store button will light indicating that in order to retain the changes, you have to store
your changes to a Program. If you switch Programs, or turn the power off to the RP21D without storing your changes, the RP21D will revert
to the last stored version of that Program erasing all the changes that you had made. Once you have edited a Program to your satisfaction,
press the store button once. The Display will take you to a naming menu and look something like this:
The display is now showing you 5 things that pertain to naming the Program.
1. This is the current name of the Program. There will be a cursor under one of the characters of the name. This indicates which character
has been selected. Rotating the Data Wheel will change the character. The next and previous page buttons will move the cursor right or
left.
2. The number 1 icon is indicating that pressing the number 1 button will change the currently selected character to a letter, change from
upper case to lower case, or lower case to upper case.
3. The number 2 icon is indicating that pressing the number 2 button will change the currently selected character to a number.
4. The number 3 icon is indicating that pressing the number 3 button will select the insert function and shift the characters to the left.
5. The number 4 icon is indicating that pressing the number 4 button will select copy and shift the characters to the right.
After you have given your new Program a name, press the Store button again. The Display will look something like this:
The Display is now telling you 2 things about where you are going to store this new sound.
1. This line of the Display is telling you that you are about to replace the Program that is named here.
2. This section is telling which Program number you are about to store your changes to. The number two icon is indicating that you must
press the number two button in order to access the destination Program number. Then you can rotate the Data Wheel to select the Program
number that you want to store your changes to.
Pressing the Store button a third time will execute the store function. The Display will briefly show Storing Program, and then return to the
performance mode. Your changes have been saved. To copy one Program to another Program location, start by selecting the Program that
you want to copy. Then follow the steps for storing a Program.
