For household and indoor use only!
To reduce the risk of fire:
* Do not vacuum
near smoke,
glowing or burning material - e.g.
cigarettes, matches, hot ashes or
inflammable liquid or gas.
* Do not vacuum in areas where
there may
be inflammable
or
combustibie liquids or gases.
¢ Air fresheners
must
not
be
sprayed into the vacuum cleaner
since this entails
arisk of explosion.
To reduce the risk of electric
shock:
* Do not leave the vacuum cleaner
plugged in. Unplug
when the
vacuum cleaner is not
in use or
during service.
¢ Follow the instruction booklet
carefully. Service and repairs may
only be carried out by an authorised
workshop. Only those spare parts
and accessories recommended by
the manufacturer
may
be used.
Never try to modify the vacuum
cleaner yourself in any way.
NB! To avoid injury and prevent
damage to the machine, a defective
fead must only be replaced by the
manufacturer or a service workshop
approved by the manufacturer.
* In a double insulated appliance,
double insulation is used instead of
grounding. The symbol
( 5
) is
marked on the information label. A
double
insulated machine
is not
provided with grounding and may
not be grounded afterwards.
* Service of this type of vacuum
cleaner requires extreme care and
expertise and should therefore only
be carried out by qualified per-
sonnel, Spare parts for a double
insulated vacuum cleaner must be
identical
with those
parts being
replaced.
° Never vacuum with a damaged
cord or plug. If the apparatus is not
functioning
as it should,
if it is
dropped, damaged,
left outside,
dropped in water - hand it in for
service.
* Do not use the cord as a means
of pulling or lifting the vacuum
cleaner. Do not trap the cord ina
door.
The
cord
must
not
be
subjected to heat.
* Pull the plug to disconnect the
cord. Never pull the cord itself!
* Never vacuum
water or in wet
areas.
Do not use the vacuum
cleaner with wet hands. Clean the
appliance with a dry cloth after
having first disconnected the cord.
To reduce the risk of injury or
damage:
¢ The appliance may not be used
as a toy. Be extra careful when the
vacuum cleaner is used by or near
children.
* Keep hair, fingers, clothes etc.
out of the way of the power nozzle's
moving parts when it is fitted.
¢ Switch off all functions before
disconnecting the cord.
¢ Use extra care when vacuuming
stairs.
® Switch off the vacuum cleaner
before fitting or removing acces-
sories. Regarding the powernozzie,
follow
the
instructions
in the
accompanying
instruction
hand-
book.
* Warning! if the vacuum cleaner is
equipped with a rotary brush, do
not touch this while the machine is
connected to the mains.
* Filters and dust bags must be
changed at intervals according to
theinstruction book. Never vacuum
without a dust bag. To maintain the
vacuum cleaner's performance and
to avoid injury, use only Electrolux
dust bags and filters.
* Do not vacuum
sharp objects
such as glass pieces or pins, which
can damage the dust bag and mo-
tor.
