WARNING: The solar panel “Post Light” requires sunlight to charge the batteries and should be installed in an area with a minimum of 8 hours of direct sun exposure.
  • Page 4 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Detach the solar panel top (A) from lamp head (B) by rotating the nuts counterclockwise. Install the bulb (DD). Hardware Used Bulb 3. Turn ON the switch in solar panel top (A). Attach solar panel top (A) to lamp head (B) with the previously removed two nuts.
  • Page 5 Mark 3 points on the ground by using the base (F) holes. 6. Drill with a suitable drill bit (Ø14mm/0.5in.). 7. Remove the preassembled nuts and washers from the expansion bolts (AA). Then put the expansion bolts (AA) into the drill holes. Leave 50mm outside. 50mm 1.97in.
  • Page 6 Rotate the top pole (C) clockwise onto the middle pole (D). Rotate the middle pole (D) clockwise onto the bottom pole (E). Secure the bottom pole (E) to the base (F) with the screws (BB) by using the Phillips screwdriver. Hardware Used Screw 11.
  • Page 7 MAXIMIZING SOLAR LIGHT POST PERFORMANCE 8 hrs Charging: Charge in direct sunlight for 8-10 hours. Location: Choose location with minimum 6-8 hours sunlight. When choosing a spot for your solar light, ensure that the device is not placed near nighttime light sources such as porch lighting, landscape lighting or street lighting.
  • Page 8 BATTERY/BULB REPLACEMENT Warning: The supplied LED bulbs have been specially developed for use with the solar post light model 6940403012 and must be replaced with model 170200150. The use of any other type bulbs will not function in the fixture.
  • Page 9 Remove the old battery. If the LED bulb is broken, remove the broken solar LED bulb and replace. 5. Insert new battery into battery compartment. 6. Attach the battery cover to solar panel top with battery cover screw removed in step 3. Tighten with a Phillips screwdriver (not included).
