pdShow

pdShow
Displays data from a panic dump file.
Synopsis
pdshow [panic_dump_file]
Description
Use this command to display data from a panic dump file. The panic dump file contains information
that might be useful to determine the cause of the system panic.
When executed without any arguments, this command displays output from the latest panic dump
file available on the switch.
If a panic dump file is specified as an argument, the contents of that specific file are displayed.
Note
The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may
be in place. Refer to chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS commands" and Appendix A, "Command
Availability" for details.
Operands
This command has the following optional operand:
panic_dump_file
Examples
To examine a panic dump file by the name panic_dump located under the directory /tmp:
