The 2120 includes several shortcuts for programming your 2120 FC:

Assigning Programs to Footswitches

To assign any currently selected Program to a Patch footswitch in the currently selected bank, do the following:
1. Be sure that that the Program's Title screen is displayed as shown below:
2. Press the <Assign> button once. The display reads:
3. Press one of the ten footswitches to Link that Program to that switch. If you choose a footswitch that is already assigned to do
something else besides select a Program, the display reads:
4. Turning the <3> button re-assigns the function of the footswitch while turning the <4> knob will leave everything as it was,
aborting the procedure. Once you link a Program to a Patch in a Bank, the LED lights above the footswitch that you selected
indicating the Link was successful.
5. Press the <Program> button to exit.
Assigning Parameters to Footswitches/ Expression Pedals
The 2120 allows you to control up to 16 Parameters per Program. Each time you link a parameter to a Footswitch or expression pedal, it is
added to any assignments already made to that controller. This is where the 2120 becomes the dedicated work horse that it is, by doing all of
the organizing for you so all you have to do is select which parameter is being controlled, then tell the 2120 to "Make it so"
