Description EVM User's Guide: XTR200EVM XTR200 Evaluation Module Description Applications The XTR200 evaluation module (EVM) is a • Position sensor development platform for evaluating the XTR200, • Pressure transmitter which is a high-voltage, precision output driver for • Temperature transmitter 3-wire current or voltage systems.
The XTR200EVM is the evaluation module (EVM) for the XTR200 high-voltage, 3-wire current-loop transmitter. The XTR200 supports both output current and output voltage configurations by setting the mode pin high or low. The device features an integrated low-leakage PMOS output transistor and short-circuit current protection.
Hardware www.ti.com 2.3 Output Mode Configuration This section describes the different output mode configurations of the XTR200. 2.3.1 Current Mode Configuration For current mode, use Equation 1 to calculate the output current. The default value for the R resistor (R9) is 1.5kΩ, optimized for input voltage ranges of 0V to 3V, to achieve an output signal of 0mA to 20mA.

VSP and GND. The 3.3V LDO is not necessary for the XTR200 to operate. The XTR200 has a built-in weak internal pullup resistors to 3.3V in the OD, MODE, and EF pins. The primary function of the onboard 3.3V LDO is to power the LED for visible fault detection from the EF pin.
