    INSTRUCTION MANUAL WARNING Clear the area to be cut before each use. Remove all objects such as cords, lights, wire, or loose string which can become entangled in the cutting blade and create a risk of serious personal injury. Always wear the safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating the line trimmer. If the trimmings or foreign object jams the cutting head or nylon line, be sure to remove the battery and wear gloves before attempting to remove the trimming or foreign object.

    TRIMMING EDGES Press in and hold the locking button. Rotate the cutting head 180 degrees. Release the locking button. Guide the unit, as shown, slowly along the edge of the lawn, using the side wheel. Ensure the plant guard is placed in the upright position, against the motor housing.
